I decided that I would use some of the awesome solid fabrics that I had in my stash from Connecting Threads. Once I decided which stencil I wanted to use, I printed it out on plain computer paper. I thought I would use some from my Designer Collection, to demonstrate. The first thing I did, was to decide what stencil I wanted to use. I have had several people ask, “Why would I want a stencil collection and how would I use them?” Well……I decided to write up this blog post to show you how I would use these stencils or any of the stencils within Quilt Pro. These stencils can be sized to your block, which makes this so awesome for those of us that like to use stencils to quilt, or just like to see how a certain quilting design might look on a quilt block while still in the designing process. This powerful program has thousands of quilt blocks, fabric swatches, and of course….stencils. I recently had the pleasure of designing a feather stencil collection for Quilt Pro.įirst, have you heard about Quilt Pro? It is an awesome, user-friendly, quilt designing software program, that is a must have in my opinion.
